The Viera LCD range overcomes a weakness of conventional LCD TVs in that it offers a wide viewing angle to provide great pictures even when viewed from acute angles.
The Panasonic LXD60 series provides brighter pictures, deeper blacks and all round increased gradation with 1200:1 contrast courtesy of the V-Real Advanced LCD AI, which features Active Light Control and Active Contrast Systems.
The picture quality is enhanced by the quick 8-msecond motion picture response of Panasonic's Overdrive system. The purpose of this system is to suppress afterimages and colour shifts, making for clearer pictures in fast-action sports scenes and quick moving objects. The new range also offers convenience for the consumer with double HDMI sockets. The HDMI cable carries both picture and sound signals thus cutting down on the amount of wires you need.
